In early 2022, CFID undertook a major strategic planning exercise that included an environmental scan and key stakeholder interviews. The key information gathered was distilled and served as the foundation of a facilitated strategic planning session of the CFID Board of Directors which took place in June 2022. Over the following months, a new CFID Strategic Plan was shaped and unveiled in late 2022. The new Strategic Plan will guide the organization over the next decade ensuring that CFID remains relevant and best able to serve the infectious disease research community.
